Courses

ALRI offers a wide variety academic college-level courses. Retired and/or working professionals drawn from government, universities, think tanks, and private industry, serve as volunteer instructors. ALRI welcomes contact from persons interested in volunteering their services to teach a course in their area of interest and expertise.

Registration Procedures

To register for a course, you must be a member of ALRI.  There is a fee for each course in addition to the annual membership fee.  An electronic version of the Spring 2012 catalog is made available under the Publications button on our website as soon as the finalized catalog goes to the printer and the hard-copy is mailed to members in mid-January.

For the Spring 2012 term, course registration begins on February 6th, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Members registering on-line will receive immediate on-line confirmation of their registration plus a confirming e-mail. The on-line system does not accept any registrations until February 6th, 2012 at 10:00 AM.  Paper registrations received on or before that date are processed in random order by ALRI staff on February 6th, 2012 at 10:00 AM.  Paper forms received thereafter are processed during office hours in the order in which they are received. Members sending in paper registration forms will receive a confirmation letter via first-class mail. No phoned course registrations are accepted.
