Courses

ALRI offers a wide variety of interesting and relevant college-level courses. Retired and/or working professionals drawn from government, academia, think tanks, and private industry, serve as volunteer instructors. ALRI welcomes contact from persons interested in volunteering their services to teach a course in their area of interest and expertise.

Registration Procedures

To register for a course, you must be a member of ALRI. There is a fee for each course (in addition to the annual membership fee).  Catalogs are mailed to members as soon as they are printed, at least ten days before the beginning of registration. The Fall 2010 catalog will be available on-line in August 2010.

For the Fall 2010 term, course registration will begin on September 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Members registering on-line will receive immediate on-line confirmation of their registration plus a confirming e-mail. The on-line system will not accept any registrations until September 13th at 10:00 AM.  Paper registrations received on or before that date will be processed in random order by ALRI volunteers on September 13th beginning at 10:00 AM.  Paper forms received thereafter are processed during office hours in the order in which they are received. Members sending in paper registration forms will receive a confirmation letter via first-class mail. No phone registrations are accepted.
